Board Member Alice Rodriguez Honored by Hispanic 100 as Living Legend

It was a gratifying "This is Your Life" moment for Cadence Bank board member Alice Rodriguez, who stepped on stage to be honored as a Latina Living Legend by the Dallas-Fort Worth Hispanic 100 (H100). Surrounded by her family, friends and Cadence Bank teammates, Rodriguez received enthusiastic applause in recognition of her tireless leadership serving Hispanic communities throughout the U.S.

The H100 October annual luncheon honored extraordinary Latina leadership in the areas of employment, procurement and social issues. It also raised critical funds to support women and girls across North Texas through the Latina Giving Circle at the Texas Women’s Foundation. Cadence was proud to be a visionary sponsor of the event.

Rodriguez’s body of community service work is extensive. It includes serving as chair of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, past president of Hispanic 100, and former board member and past treasurer of Avance North Texas.

“I believe engaging in your community isn’t just about giving back—it’s about building connections, strengthening local voices and pulling up others so they can thrive,” said Rodriguez after receiving the honor. “I stand on the shoulders of strong Latina women who overcame adversity and taught me resilience and grit, also known as being scrappy.”

During her 35-year banking career with JPMorgan Chase, she led the JPMC Community Impact Organization, which created the Path Forward Initiative, a $30 billion commitment to advancing racial equity.

Presently, she has taken on a more active role as co-owner of Kendall Milagro, Inc., a boutique home builder in Dallas that she and her husband co-founded more than 20 years ago. In addition to serving on Cadence Bank’s board, she also serves on the board of directors for Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC, a privately held regulated electricity transmission and distribution company that serves North Texas.

“Throughout her career as a banker, community volunteer and homebuilder, Alice has combined the best aspects of business, philanthropy and public policy to promote inclusive economic growth," said Dan Rollins, chairman and CEO of Cadence Bank. “We are fortunate to benefit from her experience, wisdom and counsel and congratulate Alice on this well-deserved honor.”
