Edward “Billy” H. Braddock is Chief Banking Officer of Cadence Bank, bringing more than 30 years of experience in banking and finance to the role. Since joining Cadence in 2011, he has held several key leadership positions, including Chief Credit Officer, Commercial & Industrial Group Manager, Energy Services Group Manager, Special Assets Group Manager and Treasury Management Executive.

Braddock began his career in banking at NationsBank, N.A., before transitioning into trading and corporate development roles in the merchant energy sector. He later returned to banking with BOKF, N.A., where he led the commercial banking practice in Houston.

A committed community leader, Braddock serves on the Advisory Board for the Texas A&M University Commercial Banking Program. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M University and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
